The street design, nurtured by generous civic spaces, respects the local cultural and economic aspirations, recognizing that “every place is given its character by certain patterns of events that keep on happening there".

 

The emphasis for pedestrian scale with new dimensions for the liveable street concept - pedestrians, alternative-mobility and bicycles. It is an effort to return the  street to the PEOPLE, emulating the Penang culture that is very much embedded to the streets.
