trim - ac

Trim-ac was created in 1988, focusing on architecture and urban design projects and services. Since its creation it has developed innovative solutions worldwide for important clients as RTVE, AT&T, SANTANDER, CHANEL, REALE MUTUA, ING, ELECTRIA, NORTHERN TELECOM. ISOFOTON, ACCOR GROUP, CIBIC, PARQUE TECNOLÓGICO DE ANDALUCÍA,etc

Specially relevant are the projects developed for leading companies in the automotive industry, such as RENAULT (in Spain, France and South America), PEUGEOT (in Spain, Europe and China), HARLEY-DAVIDSON (Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa and Latin America) or TESLA Motors (USA, Europe).

As a result from the combination of Trim-ac's experience in the automotive industry and the innovative know-how in the urban planning area owned by its professionals, a new line of work was created within the company in 2007, aimed at the development of specific solutions for sustainable urban mobility (and micro-mobility), devised to facilitate a radical change in traditional attitudes and behaviors of the urban dwellers, regarding their urban displacements needs and the improvement of their quality of life.

This line of expertise, pursues the implementation of connectivity solutions and micro-urban mobility, where electric vehicle technologies, renewable energy management, intelligent distribution networks and ICT will meet, and in which the company takes advantage of their strategic understanding of the different actors of the environment: public administration, electric vehicle manufacturers, operators of renewable energy and information technologies companies.

In 2013 Trim-ac has opened offices in Malaysia and develops ideas of architecture and urban planning based on the Strategic Design Concept. This is a new key of differentiation that adds value because it defines the concept-key of the project that differentiates it from other similar cases on the market.

This new experience of Trim-ac, together with the previous one, runs architectural projects, urban planning and connectivity that organize and articulate the requirements, capabilities and objectives of the actors mentioned in an integrated manner that meets these key features :

1. They are sustainable solutions, focused to solve specific new urban planning problems : the different icons of the layout of the city, the way that people live and enjoy their city, mobility questions like traffic, parking, general and particular transport and connections strategies, in a real and concrete environment of the city like : historic , tourist , logistics, commercial, industrial and emblematic areas.

2. Mobility and micromobility solutions must be innovative, based in the use of electric vehicles. They promote the use of clean energy with the logical consequence of the drastic drop in emissions and noise pollution.

3. The solutions always have to be consistent with the different national and (where appropriate) regional urban sustainable strategies, affecting the considered geographical area.
